Muhurtam for Kick 2 on Aug20
Film lovers remember the super hit Ravi Teja starrer film Kick in the year 2009. This film broke and created new records at the box office and helped Ravi Teja further strengthen his firm hold over the box office.
Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting for a sequel to this super hit movie.Now the time has arrived.Nearly after five years, the actor-director duo has teamed up to work in "Kick 2."
The project was earlier announced by producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on the special occasion of NTR's birth anniversary. Now the film is all set to start its shoot from Aug 20 th.
The filmmaker confirmed the news saying, "We are going to begin shooting for Kick 2 from Wednesday. The film is going to be even more entertaining than Kick and we will spare no effort to ensure it. Ravi Teja is going to be seen in a cracker-jack of a role."
The film will not be a sequel to "Kick" and will get a new title. The first look poster of the film that has been revealed recently got a huge response. Both Ravi Teja and Surender Reddy are in form with their last releases ("Balupu" and "Race Gurram") achieving big box office success. With the actor-director duo teaming up once again, expectations are bound to soar.
Surender Reddy is currently busy with the pre-production work of the film. On the other hand, Raviteja's current film Power is also nearing its completion. KICK was a laugh riot and Surender Reddy is in great touch with a hit like Race Gurram. So guess how he is shaping up this second installment!
Vakkantham is providing the script and Milky babe Tamanna name was considering as lead heroine.
