Behave responsibly, Pawan warns KCR It's known that Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao took a dig at power star Pawan Kalyan for not participating in the Intensive Household Survey. Responding on this in a veiled reference to Pawan, KCR had said: "Those who want to stay here as tourists and guests, have not taken part in the survey".
After KCR's jibe, his daughter and Nizamabad MP Kavitha also lambasted Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for boycotting the intensive household survey taken by the Telangana government. Indirectly referring to Pawan and Vijayasanthi, Kavitha asked 'Are they counted among human beings?.
Finally Pawan responded on the comments of KCR yesterday. Pawan Kalyan late on Thursday evening met BJP president Amit Shah. The meeting lasted for about half a hour. When questioned about KCR's remarks for not attending Samagra Kutumba Survey, Pawan Kalyan said he was not in Hyderabad to participate in the survey.
He also advised KCR to stop flaring up regional differences since he is a responsible leader now. Pawan clarified again that it does no good to any one even after the state's bifurcation, if KCR tries to ignite regional differences between the two Telugu states.
Pawan admitted saying, 'Actually, I was not in Hyderabad that day. In fact, they (the govt) said participating in the survey is voluntary. It is not good speaking divisive remarks even after state bifurcation.'
Pawan also said that his party Jana Sena hasn't decided on whether to contest upcoming GHMC elections or not. Interim, Pawan Kalyan is busy with Gopala Gopala shooting. His Jana Sena Party is expected to take part in GHMC elections in association with BJP and TDP.
