Manchu Lakshmi's 'Ice' challenge to Tapsee
We may not be trendsetters but most of the times, we are trend followers. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALC) Ice Bucket Challenge arrived in India and took Bollywood by storm.
One after the other, the celebs are taking up the ice bucket challenge .The virus has been attacking south celebs. After Hansika took the lead among the Telugu actors for the Ice Bucket Challenge, it is now Lakshmi Manchu's tun to do.
Tollywood's most celebrated female Lakshmi Manchu too joined this brigade of people getting drenched in ice bucket challenge. Challenging her friends and contemporaries like Taapsee Pannu, GV Keshav Reddy (GVK Junior) and Yuvraj Singh, the Manchu lady has done it.
Her staff poured cold water on Lakshmi Manchu when the actress has just thrown her challenge to the above biggies.
'I accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge nominated by my friends. Somebody invented this crazy idea for charity. I'm going to donate as well though, because that 's the most important thing', said Lakshmi Manchu.
For those who are unaware of what ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is, well it's a trend that kicked off in the US to not only raise awareness but also donate for Lou Gehrig's Disease. And it's viral now. Once someone nominates you for this cause, you will either have to dunk a bucket of ice on your head or donate $100 to the ALS Association.
