Anukshanam without an interval Ram Gopal Varma has come out with a new ploy to test the patience levels of the audiences. Apparently, his upcoming thriller Anukshanam is not going to have an interval.
The rationale behind this decision goes like this: Normally, most thrillers released in Europe and the US do not have an interval as the makers feel that it would disturb the experience of the film. Taking a leaf out of their book, Ram Gopal Varma has decided to employ the same format for Anukshanam.
The movie stars Manchu Vishnu, Navadeep, Tejaswi and Madhu Shalini in the lead roles. Manchu Vishnu plays a cop hot in pursuit of a serial killer.
So, Anukshanam becomes the first Telugu film to not have an interval, if this is something worth taking pride in. while on the one hand, it would indeed be an incentive if the movie manages to keep the audiences sufficiently interested enough to remain in their seats and watch the entire movie at one go, the downside is that should they find the movie unbearable, they would not even have the respite of an interval.
