Puri to direct Varun Tej
If the grapevine has to be believed Puri Jagannath is likely to direct Varun Tej in his second film. Sources close to the director claim that recently Puri narrated a story to Naga Babu and Varun for which the director received a positive feedback from the father-son duo.
It is worth mentioning that Varun Tej was the initial choice for Heart Attack. However, the project didn't materialise as Naga Babu is not so keen to introduce his son with a complicated love story and as a result Puri had gone ahead with Nithiin.
Puri Jagannath has the credit of introducing Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan with Chirutha to Tollywood. With this Puri has the tack of dealing a subject featuring a budding hero owing his experience and it's worth a wait to see whether Varun and Naga Babu give their approval to Puri at least this time!
