Trisha back in form
Not long ago, the industry had virtually written Trisha off saying that her time had come and that she could no longer garner any worthwhile projects.
In fact, the focus was more on her wedding and alleged affair with Rana Daggubati rather than her work. But the 'Chennai beauty' has managed to answer her critics in the best possible way. Her recent foray into the Kannada film industry with the movie Power was highly successful as the movie emerged a blockbuster.
Incidentally, Power is the remake of Mahesh Babu's Dookudu. Top heroes in Kannada are now reported to be keen on having Trisha in their movies. Trisha is also playing the lead role opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in his next film in Tollywood and opposite Tamil super star Ajith in another untitled venture.
While industry sources say that Trisha cut down on her remuneration to be a part of these projects, Trisha wisely is quoting her original remuneration again to other filmmakers citing her Sandalwood success and current projects on hand. Also goes to show that it is not just her looks which made her rule the box office for such a long time!
