Nag pledges to donate organs
After the likes of Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Aishwarya Rai, Tolywood King Nagarjuna is the latest celebrity in film industry to support a noble initiative like organ donation.
Couple of years ago, Nagarjuna's wife Amala Akkineni had signed up to donate her organs. Now, Nagarjuna follows her by supporting the noble initiative of organ donation. Nagarjuna is going to take part in a huge campaign, which will be held on September 13 in Shilpa Kala Vediak, to encourage more people to take up the cause.
Of late, star celebrities are keen on social awareness programs. Few Telugu actors like Navdeep and Arvind Krishna have already pledged to donate their organs.
This is not the first time the couple has extended their support towards those noble causes. In the past they has participated in AIDS awareness campaigns by setting a example for others.
