Manoharudu satellite rights sold for a bomb
Manoharudu (Ai in Tamil) starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles is the buzzword all over.The latest update is that, Ai's satellite rights have been bought by Jaya TV for a staggering amount of Rs. 22 crores!
As per the agreement, Jaya TV can telecast the film after 100 days of its run. Anyone who wishes to buy the rights of dubbed version will have to buy it from Jaya TV.
Directed by Shankar, this movie is in the making from the past two years and is made at a whopping 185 crore. This movie had several hollywood technicians working for it. Hollywood stars Arnold Schwarzenegger will grace the audio launch of this film which is a rare feat in Indian cinema.
A.R. Rahman scored the music and the audio launch of Ai is scheduled to happen on September 15th which will also be telecast on Jaya TV. Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger has been invited as the chief guest for Ai's Tamil audio launch.
Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vijay are expected to grace the event. While Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan will be attending Ai's Hindi audio launch.
Every aspect of Shankar's films call for huge sum of money and lavishness. This includes the satellite rights of his films as well. Wishing Shankar's Ai all the very best to break all the records once it releases!
