Bellamkonda denies suicide rumors
Did NTR's Rabhasa producer Bellamkonda Suresh made a suicide attempt recently? This is the news created a huge buzz in film fraternity. After few of his recent flop films including the latest NTR-starrer Rabhasa, Bellamkonda debt reportedly went up to Rs.60 crore.
He reportedly owes Rs 25 crore to Multidimension (part of Karvy), a production house that finances and distributes films. Gossip had it that Multi-Dimensions is putting pressure on Suresh to repay the debts and Suresh in compensation offered to give the rights of his next film.
When contacted, Ram Mohan Rao, who is looking after the films division of Multidimension, denied pressurizing the producer. He said that Bellamkonda is in a bit of financial problems, but he expressed confidence that the producer will overcome.
However, Suresh who is in Chennai quashed those rumors as "baseless''. He claimed to be busy with post-production work of Lawrence 'Ganga' ('Muni 3') in Chennai.
'In film industry there will be ups and downs, and I've seen all of them. Don't believe in any rumour', he commented. Earlier Bellamkonda worked out some small flicks big time and minted loads of money, who knows, such situation might repeat again to bail him out.
