Loukyam release delayed
Several speculations about Gopichand's upcoming film Loukyam are doing the rounds in the industry. The film that is scheduled to release on September 26 is now being delayed by a week, says the buzz.
However, the producer of the film Anand Prasad has not yet confirmed the postponement. Yet many people in the industry are discussing about a possible delay in the release. Directed by Sriwaas, the film will see Rakul Preet Singh paired opposite Gopichand as the leading lady for the first time.
Recently, the unit has shot three songs on the lead pair in Switzerland and Italy. Tipped to be an action entertainer, the music of the film is by Anup Rubens.
'A team of technicians is working round the clock to ensure a possible release as per the schedule. But looks like it's unlikely as the post-production formalities would take longer time than expected,' says a production hand.
Kona Venkat and Gopimohan have penned the screenplay for this film that also features Hamsa Nandini and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.
