RGV booked for Ganesh comments
The SR Nagar police, acting on the directions of the Nampally court, registered a case against film maker Ram Gopal Varma on Wednesday.
An advocate A Ramakrishna Reddy had lodged a complaint against the film maker stating that Varma had made derogatory and outrageous comments about Lord Ganesh on the micro-blogging site Twitter and it had hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.
This is the third case registered against him in Hyderabad and fourth in the country on the controversial remarks.
