NTR Jr backs out from multi-starrer
There has been a multi-starrer in the pipeline for quite some time now. The project is expected to bring together two of the biggest names in Tollywood: NTR Junior and Nagarjuna.
The script has been prepared by Vamsi Paidipalli of Brundavanam and Yevadu fame. Industry sources now say that NTR Junior has backed out from the project and Tamil hero Karthi is being considered now.
The project is being produced by Prasad V Potluri and a couple of reasons are being bandied about for Junior dropping out from the movie. One is that Vamsi Paidipalli made some changes to the script which was not to Junior's liking.
The other is that since the movie is a planned bi-lingual and will release in Tamil also, producer Prasad was keeping the market of Karthi in Tamil in mind and hence opted for the latter. While Karthi undoubtedly is a fine lad, the market value of the project would not be the same at least in Tollywood without the presence of Junior in it.
