Swetha Basu gets Deepika's backing
After Swetha Basu Prasad's episode, everyone is openly talking on the flesh trade and how this kind of illicit and indecent trade is rampant in the industry in different forms like casting couch and cash tags attached to actresses for one night stands.
With many celebrities responding openly on Swetha's incident, the latest to respond was Deepika Padukone! She opined that if Swetha felt that's the only way to salvage her family and if that is (prostitution) the only way to give her support what's wrong in that! Deepika also found fault with people pointing the actress as wrong and asked us to think with humane heart!
"If prostitution is the only way for the actress to support her family, I don't think there's anything wrong. Instead of making this a scandal, why are we not supporting her? We should in fact step up and help her and talk about the people who hired her. Not look down on her. why are we not supporting her," Deepika said media while speaking on promotions of her next film Finding Fanny.
Till now Swetha Basu got the moral support from former colleague Sakshi Tanwar, producer Hansal Mehta and film maker Nagesh Kukunoor.
