Sudheer recieves award on behalf of Mahesh
South Indian International Movie Awards 2014 (SIIMA 2014) function held in Malaysia on September 12 and 13.
It was a night of glitz and glamour at the South Indian International Movie Awards (Siima) when south Indian stars descended here for the award ceremony.Siima, in its third year, was held over two days at Stadium Negara for the first time.
Over 90 awards were given during the show and almost all South Indian film personalities attended the key award presentation ceremony held in the South East Asian country.
Stars like Chiranjeevi, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Shriya Saran, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, among others walked the red carpet on day one of the award ceremony. SIIMA is a one-of-a-kind endeavour to present South Indian Cinema on a global platform. This year the award function has gone overseas for the very first time.
In Telugu Pawan starrer AD won majority awards but lost the best actor award to Mahesh Babu. As Mahesh was busy with Aagadu post production works his in-law Sudhir Babu received the award on his behalf.
