BVS Ravi booked for drunken driving
Celebrities in news for getting arrested in drunk and drive cases are very often heard these days. We have seen so many such cases reported in the recent past in Hyderabad. The latest one to join the bandwagon is director BVS Ravi
The city traffic police booked a case of drunken driving against Telugu film writer BVS Ravi on Friday night at around 11:30 pm. Ravi was driving along with director Ram Gopal Varma and another friend in Jubilee Hills when the traffic cops stopped them and put them through a breath analyzer test..
After taking the test, Ravi who was behind the wheel, was found to have consumed liquor in excess of permissible limits. His vehicle was seized and he was asked to appear before the court on Monday.
Cops charged Ravi under the section 185A and he will have to appear at Traffic Training Institute session for counseling on Monday. He had to appear before the IV Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
Ravi recently produced a film, Second Hand which failed to set cash registers ringing at Box Office. He made his directorial debut with Gopichand starrer film Wanted.
This is not the first time for BVS Ravi to get caught in drunk and drive case. Earlier, he was found in the same situation with actor Ravi Teja and comedian Srinivas Reddy.
