Nani replaces Rana in Kavacham
Hanu Raghavapudi, who made his debut as director with the critically acclaimed Andala Rakshasi, was all set to direct Rana Daggubati in his next.
Rana had given his approval to the script tentatively titled Kavacham and the movie was to be produced by Rana's dad, Suresh Babu Daggubati. However, industry sources now report that Rani will not be a part of the project.
It is believed that Nani would now star in the movie and alterations are currently being made to the script to suit Nani's image. Rani has currently finished shooting for Rudramadevi and will complete Baahubali also soon.
The reason behind why Rana chose to give Kavacham a skip is not yet known. But apparently, Suresh Babu will still be the producer of the movie. This will be a great opportunity for Nani to act in the banner of such a reputed production house and with a promising director.
