Venky to act in another remake
Speculations are rife in the tinsel town that Venkatesh is planning to act in yet another remake titled Salim. The film, directed by NV Nirmal Kumar, has become a runaway hit in Kollywood and evoked tremendous response for its content.
Starring Vijay Anthony and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles, Salim is the story of a doctor who loses his job in his fight against the evil. He later turns into a vigilante to teach a lesson to the ones who mocked him.
Currently, Venkatesh is working for Gopala Gopala, a remake of Bollywood hit Oh My God. Recently, the actor delivered a hit with the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drushyam. The project is expected to hit the floors once Venky wraps up his current commitments. Suresh Babu is set to produce this film.
