Kona to direct Ravi Teja
It is known that ace writer Kona Venkat has been making his attempts to wield the megaphone for a long time now. On many occasions, Kona expressed his penchant for direction and if the reports are anything to go by, the writer is all set to direct Ravi Teja in a new movie.
Those in the know, say that Kona narrated a script to Ravi Teja recently and got the green signal from the Balupu star.
If everything goes as planned, the film will go onto the sets early next year (2015). As a writer Kona has the credit of penning dialogues for Ravi Teja's hit films such as Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai, Venky, Don Seenu, Balupu and Power.
Kona turned a producer with Geethanjali and the film was adjudged a blockbuster at the ticket-window. Let's hope he proves his mettle as a director as well.
