Nag, RGV to release a documentary on 'Siva'
Generally, people begin with short films and end up becoming big directors. But maverick director RGV's route is completely opposite to this trend and he is now aiming on building a strong short film base.
Ram Gopal Varma is now busy making documentaries and short films in Tollywood. Recently we reported about RGV short film based on Manchu Lakshmi. Now he came up with another documentary.
It is exactly 25 years ago on October 5, RGV's first film Siva hit the theaters and created a revolution. To mark that, a special documentary is made on the film by RGV and he is planning to release it on October 5, to mark the 25 years of the film. Titled 'Exploring Siva after 25 Years,' it would reveal several factoids and unknown things during the making of Siva.
About this RGV posted the following on his official page. "Nagarjuna and me are going to formally release the Telugu Film Industry's first documentary titled "Exploring "Siva" After 25 Years" at a press meet on October 5, the 25th anniversary of the release of "Siva"...The documentary would be narrated by SiraSri and it will contain the following sections..
1.interviews of cast and crew sharing their experiences before and after Siva
2.The locations of Siva as in how they look now after 25 years
3.The goons of Siva as in what they are doing now
4.The sound of Siva as in how it came about
5.The effect of Siva as in how it affected the later day film makers ..this section will contain interviews with S S Rajamouli, V V Vinayak, Poori Jagan, Krishna Vamshi, Harish Shanker,Vikram among others
6.An in depth interview with Nagarjuna will detail how he came about taking the decision of making Siva
7.My own interview revealing some never before known things about Siva "
Folks..Get ready to watch the unknown details of Siva
