New twist in Swetha Basu case
Swetha Basu was caught by police at a uptown hotel in Hyderabad while indulging in prostitution. Later the court has sent her to the rescue home.
The latest twist in the case is the room at where she had stayed at the time of police raid was booked by organizers of Santosham Awards. This was disclosed by police in their remand report! The victim also confirmed the same to the court! Even the defense counsel too supported police before the the court.
Now it's heard that the police are gearing up to question the Santhosham Awards event organizers. Swetha also told that she was wrongly implicated in the case. She said that she went to the hotel as per the invitation of the organizers only.
However, the police are saying that there is no truth in the allegations of the actress that she was wrongly implicated in the case. Meanwhile Erramanzil court in Hyderabad rejected Swethabasu's mother's petition seeking release of her daughter from rescue home. She reportedly told the court that she would look after her daughter with much care in future.
