Vaitla refutes Prakash Raj's allegations In response to Prakash Raj labeling him 'arrogant', 'selfish' and 'irresponsible', Srinu Vaitla convened a media interaction where he defended himself. 'Prakash Raj has said that I don't have respect towards Mahesh Babu, NTR and Pawan Kalyan. This is completely untrue. I have worked with NTR Jr for a successful film, Baadshah. He knows the kind of person I am and he is a very good friend of mine.
I am not at stage where I should learn about direction from the likes of Prakash Raj. I have directed many successful films in the past unlike Prakash Raj. We all know the fate of his latest movie, Ulavacharu Biryani. The less said about his movie, the better!
Prakash Raj is a highly arrogant person and he was removed from our movie Aagadu, because he behaved badly with a co-director. Ever since, he has been trying to harm Aagadu. How can he bad-mouth our picture while it is still running in the theatres?' questioned Srinu Vaitla.
'As for that poem of his which was used in Aagadu, he had dedicated that poem to me and hence I am fully entitled to use it,' Vaitla added. This is indeed one spat that seems to be turning uglier by the day.
