Charmee as Jyothi Lakshmi
It seems there is no end for Charmme's obsession with female centric films. If the reports are anything to go by, Charmme has agreed to play the female lead in the film title Jyothi Lakshmi.
The film is being helmed by a new-comer and it is expected to go on floors early next year (2015). Those in the know say that it was Puri Jagannadh who was instrumental in getting Charmme on board for this project.
Needless to say, Charmme and Puri share a great camaraderie and perhaps that could be the reason the director has referred her name, says a source. That's not all, Puri is also planning to produce this film under his banner Vaishno Academy.
Charmme took her time before giving the final nod. A source close to the film says, 'Charmme was the first choice for the role. Puri is sure that she fits the bill perfectly.'
The film revolves around a club dancer and Charmme will be seen playing the title role. It remains to be seen whether the film has anything to do with the story of yesteryear sex siren Jyothi Lakshmi or not.
