Ai missed Diwali festivities In a shocking last-minute about turn, the highly anticipated Vikram and Amy Jackson starrer Ai, which was scheduled for release on October 22, has been postponed.
Though producer Aascar Ravichandran is making attempts to release the film as per schedule, sources close to the production houses claim that the release looks unlikely as Vikram is yet to wrap up the dubbing formalities and the pending VFX works will force the makers to reschedule the release date.
After completing dubbing in Tamil, for the first time, Vikram is going to dub his lines in the Telugu and Hindi, in his own voice for the film. Tipped to be a romantic-thriller, Ai is directed by Shankar Shanmugam.
This news seems to be a blow for Vikram fans who are waiting with bated breath to have a dekko of their matinee idol in the film. Buzz is that the makers are planning to release the film on either November 12 or 14. AR Rahman has scored the music.
