Renu showers praise on Pawan
Pawan Kalyan's ex-wife and actress turned director Renu Desai was in Hyderabad on Monday to promote her upcoming film Ishq Wala Love. The film is the dubbed version of Marathi film of same name.
Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan's son Akhira Nandan is making his acting debut in a brief cameo in this film. She says it was quite emotional for her to direct her son in his first film. 'It was a wonderful feeling to direct Akira in my film.
As a mother, I feel quite emotional about this entire thing.' Further, the actress was all praise for Pawan Kalyan who inspired her to pen this story.
'Like many, Pawan is an inspiration to me as well. He promised me help in whatever way he can. I have right to use his name because I admire him a lot,' says Renu.
However, she clarifies that the film has no connection with her personal life. It is said to be a youthful entertainer. Starring Adinath Kothare and Sulagna Panigrahi in the lead roles, Ishq Wala Love is slated for October 24 release.
