Tamil stars contribute to cyclone relief
It was indeed heartening to see the Tamil film industry chip in for the relief works in the aftermath of the 'Hudhud'calamity. While Tamil star Suriya donated Rs 25 lakhs, his brother Karthi announced 12.5 lakhs for the cyclone relief fund.
Hero Vishal followed it up with 15 lakhs, and producer Gnanavelraja Raja announced 12.5 lakhs for the CM relief fund. It is because these people are real heroes off-screen too that they are appreciated by the Telugu people who patronize their movies.
