Kamal denies injury rumors Speculations rife that actor Kamal Haasan has met with a fatal accident while shooting for 'Papanaasam', a Tamil remake of hugely successful 'Drushyam'. The actor was recently spotted at a hospital with a bruised face, this fuelled the rumours surrounding his injury.
Putting an end to all the rumours and speculations, here's what Mr Haasan had to say from Kerala about his injury. The actor clarified that he had gone to the hospital to remove a rubber prosthetic, which slipped into his nasal passage when filming a stunt sequence.
'Before various new ailments are endowed upon me, I hasten to clarify that all is well. It is not true that i was injured while shooting. It was a make up rubber prosthetic that slipped into my nasal passage and had to be carefully removed under medical supervision. It was a stunt scene so I had simulated injuries on the face. A visit to the hospital with a bruised face led to the interpolated news. I am alright.' KH'.
Papanasam is directed by Jeethu Joseph and Gibran is composing the music. This film is likely to be released in April 2015.This film is the remake of Malayalam movie 'Drishyam'. He will be seen playing the role of common man in this remake. Gauthami will be seen alongside Kamal Haasan in this movie.
