Sivamani's second marriage on cards
After famous composer Yuvan Shanakr Raja, its now another well known drummer from Tamil is all set to get married in late age. Famous drummer Shivaamni is getting ready for his second marriage.
As per the reports, the 50 year old Sivamani fell in love with ghazal singer Runa Rizvi and the couple has been seeing each other for some time now. Both of them have worked with A R Rahman and that's how they met apparently.
Sivamani confirmed the news to the media in Kollywood and was very happy about this development in his life. There was a significant age gap between them (Sivamani is in his 50s, Runa in her 30s) it doesn't seem to be a factor since the two are madly in love.
Sivamani is well-known globally for his work in films and his concerts. One of A R Rahman's favourite musicians, Sivamani has always been part of the IPL cheering on the Chennai Super Kings with his drumming skills on the cricket field.
He has worked with AR Rahman in almost all his films and has travelled to every nook and corner of the world to put up his performance.
Runa is known for her versatility as she can sing Ghazals, Thumri, Folk, Punjabi and Sufi Music as well as Western and Pop music.
Sivamani turned music director with Arima Nambi starring Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand and Runa crooned a song for the film.The wedding will take place on November 10 th and it was a private affair.
