End of woes for Nani in sight Nothing seems to be working in favour of Nani these days. After tasting a slew of duds like Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu, Aaha Kalyanam and Paisa, the actor has his fingers crossed for the release of his much-delayed project Jenda Pai Kapiraju.
The film directed by Samuthirakani, has been postponed numerous times due to financial issues and the latest we hear is that the makers have decided to release the film on November 28.
Tipped to be an action drama, the film is said to be based on a real incident that took place in Tamil Nadu. Nani is playing a dual role for the first time in this film that has Amala Paul as the leading lady.
The Tamil version of the film Nimirndhu Nil, starring Jayam Ravi, was released early this year and received mixed response from the audience. Sarath Kumar, Vennela Kishore, Nassar and Chandra Mohan are playing pivotal roles in this film that is produced by KS Srinivasan. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music.
