Akhil Movie Release Date Postponed from Oct 22nd
Akhil Akkineni's much-awaited debut Akhil has been postponed. While the debut film of Akhil is a highly anticipated film, it is learnt that the film may not release on the scheduled date of October 22 after all.
Some reports saying that Akhil father hero Nagarjuna reportedly insisted the producers to postpone the film for now as he was not happy with promtions. He asked them to release it with grand promotions. The new date of the film will be out soon.
Other side Ram Charan's Bruce Lee release also prompted producers to postpone the film. Some reports saying that' distributors of Akhil movie had requested to postpone as the release date (Oct 22) is very close to Bruce Lee
"Competition from Bruce Lee may dampen the collections and openings for the film and so the team has decided to wait.' shares a source.
This is touted as big advantage for Bruce Lee as it's solo release for this big festival. An official announcement about the same is awaited, though.
