Nayeem killed 24 persons: SIT
Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the activities of slain gangster Nayeem, on Monday revealed that Nayeem had killed as many as 24 people. About 99 cases were booked against the slain gagster across various places in the state.
The SIT officials further said that some doctors were also involved in manipulating the post-mortem reports stating that they were normal deaths. SIT has identified that post-mortem reports pertaining to four bodies were manipulated by the doctors. Notices would be served against those doctors for false medical reports, the SIT sources informed.
Documents and key evidences related to the cases against Nayeem have been transferred to the SIT office from Narsingi Police Station, sources informed. Two SIT teams have been formed to gather evidences against Nayeem.
