Four minors among six held for eve-teasing
Hyderabad, June 11 (INN): The SHE Teams of Hyderabad City Police have arrested six persons, including four minors, for eve-teasing in two different cases in the City.
In the first case, K. Praveen Kumar, 27, of Shaikpet, was arrested for teasing a woman, misbehaving and stalking her since two months. He was regularly waiting at bus stop near S.R. Nagar, and stalking her and telling her 'I love you and want to marry you' repeatedly and following her on the way to college on a bike. Based on the complaint of the victim the person was arrested at Chermas, Ameerpet by the SHE teams.
In the 2nd case during the Telangana Celebrations in the evening of 7th June, five persons, including four minors, were standing at Lumbini park area. A husband and wife were also standing in front of them. The boys were playing with a lemon which hit the lady. When the husband questioned the act, they abused him and followed them for some distance. The husband posted the matter on the SHE Team face book page along with the bike number. Based on the bike number and confirmation by the victim and her husband, a petty case was booked on Chinna Kondal Rao, 22, of Khairatabad. He was arrested and being produced in the court. The four minors were given proper counselling not to repeat such incidents in future.
