Banker injured in firing
Hyderabad, Dec 18 (INN): A bank manager of a private bank was injured when an unidentified assailant opened fire at him at his apartment in Masab Tank area of Hyderabad on Sunday.
According to reports, Manmath Dalai, the CEO of KBS Local Area Bank, was shifted to a private hospital and he is said to be out of danger. The assailant fled immediately after the incident. The incident took place at Durga Apartment in Shanti Nagar of Masab Tank.
Police said a man came to the apartment inquiring about the banker. He went to the official's flat and after a few minutes the apartment security guard heard the sound of gunfire. We have launched a hunt for the attacker who fled to spot on his motorbike, said DCP (West Zone ) Venkateswara Rao.
