Actor Prakash Raj vows to continue to fight for rights of workers He inaugurates week long Shramik Utsav
Visakhapatnam: Actor Prakash Raj on Saturday inaugurated the Shramik Utsav, a week long cultural extravaganza organised by CITU, at the Exhibition Grounds behind the AU Convention Centrehere. In his address, Prakash Raj emphasised the need to resist the attempts of ruling parties to impose Manuvada ideology, which he said is detrimental to the well-being of the people.

"Manuvada is spreading its influence in various forms, affecting the mindset of people. We need to fight against it," Prakash Raj said, recalling his association with CITU since his youth.
Prakash Raj also criticized the government's anti-worker policies, saying they are pushing labourers to the brink. He recalled his association with CITU since his youth and vowed to continue fighting for the rights of workers.

The event featured the presentation of the Shram Award to prominent poet and critic Telakapalli Ravi by Prakash Raj.
CITU state president AV Nageswara Rao, general secretary CH Narasinga Rao, other dignitaries attended the event. The Shramik Utsav will continue until January 2, featuring cultural performances, exhibitions, and literary sessions focusing on themes such as secularism, social justice, and labour rights.
