AP marching towards Quantum yug, says Union Minister Shivraj Singh Vajpayee instrumental in introducing Good governance:CM
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and.Union Minister of Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Venkatapalem in Amaravati capital region on Thursday as a part of Vajpayee's birth centenary celebrations.

Union Minister of Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that Andhra Pradesh is marching towards Quantum Yug and expressed hope that Amaravati will emerge as a great capital city in future.
He said while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is marching ahead to achieve Viksit Bharat by 2047, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu taking initiative to establish Healthy, Wealthy and Happy Andhra Pradesh to achieve Swarnandhra Pradesh. He described both Modi and Babu combination will make the country Number one.
The Union Minister described Vajpayee as a great patriot and Ajata Satru. Vajpayee proved the efficiency of India through Pokhran atomic tests, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said Vajpayee's policies and reforms had laid the foundation for India's development. He recalled Vajpayee's role in introducing the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, which has driven infrastructure growth in the country.
He said Vajpayee is instrumental in introduction of Good governance in the country and he laid strong foundation for development of infrastructure including national highways, Telecom sector by which the country marching forward in knowledge economy. He said that he got inspiration from Vajpayee and NT Rama Rao who strived hard for the welfare of people and development of the country.
He said that the Vajpayee memorial park will be developed in Amaravati to showcase the efficient rule of former Prime Minister. He described Vajpayee as a great humanist and poet. Vajpayee proposed first golden quadrilateral corridor between Chennai and Tada. He is also instrumental in development of Hyderabad airport with open sky policy.
The Chief Minister said the development is possible with completing projects under PPP mode. During Vajpayee regime the country witnessed vast infrastructure development including roads, airports, power projects. The private parties will complete the projects and hand over the projects to the concerned governments after specified period. The Government of India also approved development under PPP mode and for providing viability gap funding. He made it clear that the development works will be completed irrespective of hurdles being created by some people. He said that Andhra Pradesh will emerge as a trend setter in development and the NDA government will win the appreciation of people.
BJP state president PVN Madhav, Union Ministers Srinivas Varma, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Ministers Satyakumar Yadav, P Narayana, and Kandula Durgesh addressed the gathering.
