Five of a family washed away in Nizamabd
Nizamabad, Oct 1 (INN): A woman and five children were drowned when a car in which they were travelling was washed away in a stream in Nizamabad district on Saturday.
The driver had a miraculous escape. He saw the water gushing in and caught the branch of a nearby tree. The tragic incident took place in occurred in Pillivagu village when the car was crossing the stream. Efforts were on to trace the woman and children. The family was from Medak district and were on their way to a hospital in Pitlam town of the district, the sources said.
The incident occurred when the woman and children were going to a hospital at Pitlam in the same district.
