Projects in TS full to their brim
Nizamabad, Oct 2 (INN): Irrigation officials on Sunday opened 40 gates of the Sri Ram Sagar Project (SRSP) and released 1.7 lakh cusecs of water. The capacity of water in the project is 90 TMCS and the project has received the water to its full capacity.
Meanwhile, in Karimnagar district the Yellampalli project has received heavy inflows in the last two days. The authorities on Sunday opened 14 gates. The project has the capacity of 20.175 TMCs while it has received 19.064 TMCs of water on as of Sunday, the officials said.
