'Why hurry in capital shifting?' Asks YSRCP Hyderabad, Oct 3 (INN): YSR Congress Party on Monday questioned the state government as to why it was hurrying in shifting of government staff and offices from Hyderabad to Amaravati when AP shared Hyderabad as common capital for 10 years.
Speaking to media, YSRC spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said that the Centre has accorded Hyderabad as the joint capital status for 10 years. During the 10 years time, all the required infrastructure could be created. Why should the government make temporary arrangements now, when Hyderabad is joint capital, Ambati questioned. Chandrababu is hurrying in capital shifting only to escape from the cash-for- vote case which is haunting him for long, he said.
The YSRC leader said that the TD government was threading the Opposition of framing charges against the Opposition parties for questioning the wrongdoings of the government. The government is threatening to book cases under the PD Act against those opposing the government, the YSRC leader alleged.
