Reorganization of districts unconstitutional: Revanth Hyderabad, Oct 7 (INN): TDP working president A. Revanth Reddy said that he would approach the Home Ministry, Central Election Commission and the Law Ministry to complain about the alleged violation of Constitution provisions in the reorganization of districts in the state.
The TDP leader said that as per the law, the state government cannot take up the reorganization of districts before the delimitation of the Assembly Constituencies. He accused the TRS government of violating law to derive political mileage from the entire exercise. The state government is creating the new districts only to benefit party leaders, Reddy alleged.
Revanth Reddy alleged that the TRS government was dividing the districts where the party does not have any significant hold. He said that the AP Reorganization mandates delimitation of Assembly constituencies but the state government is in a hurry to create districts before the delimitation of Assembly constituencies, the TD leader added.
