Police foil CPM MLA's fast
Hyderabad, Oct 8 (INN): CPI (M) MLA Sunnam Rajaiah, who had launched fast unto death demanding district status of Bhadrachalam, was taken into custody by the police and shifted to a hospital.
Rajaiah had launched the fast on Thursday demanding Bharachalam district. However, police reached the dharna camp on Saturday morning and took him into custody. Mild tension prevailed for a while when the local CPI (M) workers tried to prevent police from taking Rajaiah to a hospital.
