Foundation laid for Sathupally MLA Camp Office Khammam, Oct 15 (INN): Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao on Saturday laid foundation stone to the MLA Camp Office in Sathupally.
The Minister, who is on the tour of Khammam, visited Vemsur and Sathupally mandals and met various sections of the society.
Speaking to the media persons later, the minister said that state government was taking numerous measures for the development of agriculture and its allied sectors. He said that he state government has sanctioned a whopping fund to the tune of Rs 100 crore for fisheries development. He said that Rs 46 crore were spent to supply fishes to the fisher-folk in the state. He slammed the Opposition saying that they were defaming the government despite the government's pro-farmers policies. The minister on the occasion distributed subsidized two-wheelers for the fishermen. He also inaugurated 33/11KV power sub-station in Lingapalem.
