More people opting for Govt healthcare: Laxma Reddy Hyderabad, Oct 16 (INN): Minister for Health and Medical Education Laxma Reddy on Sunday said that the state government's efforts to strengthen the public health sectors has started bearing fruits as it was evident from the fact that the out patients in government hospitals have seen a rise of 20 per cent in the state.
Speaking at a programme to mark World Anaesthesia Day at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, the minister said that the people have recognized the government's efforts to provide better health services at state hospitals. He said that people's faith in the government has increased and hence there was a rise of out-patients at state hospitals. He said that the state has received various national awards for better public health facilities.
