KCR meets Governor over new districts Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao called on Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
The Chief Minister has reportedly briefed Narasimhan on the administration of 21 new districts in the State. He told the Governor that almost all District Collectorates have started functioning in full mode and the entire administration would be streamlined soon. He also briefed the Governor on the status of Mission Bhagaritha works.
According to sources, the Governor enquired with KCR on the civic conditions in Hyderabad which were badly hit due to recent heavy rains. The Chief Minister reportedly replied saying that the repair and restoration works have already been initiated by the State Government.
