Parkal as revenue division demanded
Warangal Rural, Oct 30 (INN): Residents of Yellampally village in Parakal mandal on Sunday stage a protest against the government demanding creation of Parkal Revenue division. The villagers have been protesting against the government for long. On Sunday, protesters conducted a mock funeral of Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy.
Speaking to the media persons, the residents alleged that the local MLA showed no interest in taking up their demand of upgrading Parkal mandal as revenue division with the state government. They alleged that despite several protests in support of their demand, the government did not take their views. Parkal fulfills the criteria to be upgraded as revenue division but the administration did not bother to take up the issue, they rued.
