No dearth of seeds: Pocharam Hyderabad, Nov 4 (INN): Agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that the state government was making all necessary arrangements for the distribution of seeds for various crops for the ensuing Rabi season.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, the minister denied the reports that there was scarcity of soybean seeds in the state and assured the farmers of distributing the seeds on time. He said that 55,632 quintals of seeds have been distributed to farmers across the state.
The minister alleged that the opposition parties were trying to confuse farmers by spreading rumors and lies against the government. He said that the state government was making all arrangements for the farmers to ensure that they do not face any trouble during the Rabi season.
