SCCL revives dependents employment scheme Hyderabad, Nov 4 (INN): Employees of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited's (SCCL) long-cherished dream of employment to their dependents has come true with the Company deciding to revive its dependent employment scheme after 15 years.
The SCCL managing director Sridhar said that the historic decision would enable the company to get young work force again which would increase the production.
According to the dependent employment scheme, workers aged between 48 and 59 are eligible to make way for their kin for employment. Those eligible for the dependents jobs are the employees' son, son-in-law and brother and should be aged between 18 and 35 years.
TRS MP K Kavitha welcomed the decision of the Company saying that it would usher in golden era for the firm. Kavitha is Honorary President of the Coal miners' union.
