Protect rights of Adivasis: Kodandaram Hyderabad, Nov 6 (INN): Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram on Sunday demanded that the state government should focus on providing better education and health facilities to Adivasis.
Speaking at a round table conference by Adivasi students originations here, Prof Kodandaram said that students' community from the Adivasis should wage a relentless struggle for the welfare and development of the community. He extended JAC's support to the community.
The JAC chief said that the Centre and state governments should evolve a mechanism to ensure speedy implementation of schemes related to the welfare of Adivasis and Girijans. He urged the state government not to take the lands from Adivasis and asked the government to provide basic infrastructure in the places with Adivasi population.
