Chiranjeevi won't leave Congress: Raghuveera Eluru, Nov 6 (INN): APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy on Sunday said that the Chandrababu Naidu government has failed to fulfill poll promises and is neck deep in corruption.
Speaking to reporters here, Raghuveera Reddy said that the Jana Chaitanya Yatra undertaken by the AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was witnessing thin attendance. He said that the TD government lost the people's trust as it failed to keep its poll promises.
The APCC chief said that Congress was not opposed to Aqua Mega Food park but urged the government to take people's opinion on the same. He said that if the people are opposed a project, the government should give assurance to the people and if it fails to do so, then it should not go ahead with the project. People's opinion should be taken into account, he said.
Raghuveera denied the reports that former minister and party leader Chiranjeevi was leaving the party. Chiranjeevi is with the Congress, he will not leave the party, the APCC chief said.
He said that Congress would support any party which fought for the special category status for the State.
