Congress spreading lies about schemes: TRS Hyderabad, Nov 12 (INN): TRS MP Burra Narsaiah Goud on Saturday said that the state is reaping the benefits of state government's initiatives like Mission Kakatiya due to which the water holding capacity of thousands of tanks in the state has increased benefitting the farmers.
Speaking to media, the MP said that the Opposition parties are not able to digest the fact that the TRS government's schemes are bearing fruits and hence they are indulging in propaganda campaign to defame the government by spreading lies.
The TRS leader said that the Congress government had indulged in large scale corruption during its rule due to which the state is facing hardships now on various issues. He said that though Congress spent Rs 87,000 crore on various projects, it could not complete them. To hide their failure, Congress leaders are spreading lies about TRS government's pro-people work, Mr Goud said.
The TRS MP said that the state government has taken up a massive step of distributing 40 crore fish seeds to fishermen community. He said that the fisheries would earn 4000 crore in next six months due to the government's initiative.
