High Court issues notices to YCP MLAs
Hyderabad, Nov 14 (INN): Hyderabad High Court on Monday issued notices to 20 YSR Congress Party MLAs who defected to the ruling TDP.
The YSR Congress Party had filed a petition for the disqualification of all the 20 MLAs who had defected to TD. The party had accused the Speaker of not taking action against the defectors and approached the High Court. Advocate General argued that as the issue was pending with the Supreme Court, the petition cannot be admitted. Not convinced with the argument, the High Court issued notices to all the 20 defectors and asked them to reply to the same within four weeks.
