Waive farm loans in one-go: Congress
Hyderabad, Nov 15 (INN): Congress' Kisan Cell state president Kodanda Reddy on Tuesday demanded the state government to waive off the farm loans in one go rather than in phases.
Speaking at a party's signature campaign demanding waving off farm loans in Kadthal in RR district, Kodanda Reddy said that the TRS had promised to waive off the farm loans in one go during election and demanded that the government should fulfill its poll promise. He said that the phase wise farm loan waiver was not beneficial to farmers as they were enough only to pay loan interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress MLA Vamshichand Reddy accused the government of neglecting the farmers in the state. He said that the Opposition would intensify the protest if the government fails to solve farmers' issues immediately.
